What is GamerSaloon.com?
GamerSaloon.com is the premiere online community for online video gamers to compete in head 2 head tournaments, multiplayer, and clan matches for real cash prizes.
Is GamerSaloon.com Legal?
Because the games that are being played for cash prizes are games of skill and not games of chance, it is legal. However, there are 9 states within the United States where the participation in skill-based video game tournaments for cash prizes is considered illegal. If you live in the following states, you may not play for cash prizes on GamerSaloon.com. Alaska, Arizona, Colorado, Delaware, Iowa, Maryland, North Dakota, Tennessee and Vermont.How old do I have to be to become a GamerSaloon.com member?
You must be 18 or older to become a GamerSaloon.com member.
How Does GamerSaloon.com work?
GamerSaloon.com works as a secured third party for online gamers to set up head 2 head tournaments. Once a tournament has been accepted by both members, money from both accounts is automatically deposited into our neutral account. After the online game has been played, the results have been reported and verified by each player, the winner's account will automatically be credited.
What video games does GamerSaloon.com support?
If you can play a head 2 head match online, then we support it. A list of all our available games can be found under choose a platform section on the homepage. We are also always open to suggestions. If you don't see a game that you want to play listed, simply contact us and we will add it for you.
What consoles does GamerSaloon.com support?
GamerSaloon.com supports the following consoles: PC, PS2, PS3, PSP, Xbox, Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii, and the Nintendo DS.
What if I forgot my password?

Can I have more than 1 account?
NO. Our policy is, only one account per individual and billing address.

Why is my state not listed on the registration page?
Unfortunately GamerSaloon.com is not legal in every state. If you live in Alaska, Arizona, Colorado, Delaware, Iowa, Maryland, North Dakota, Tennessee and Vermont you may not play video games for cash prizes. Keep checking back with us, because as laws change, we will open up to new states.

What is the user rating system?
The user rating system is one of the most important community tools used for determining other players' skills, experience, and reputation on the site. Your user rating is strictly determined on your feedback that your opponents give you. Make sure that you provide comments for your opponent after you have finished the match. See More on the rules page.
Does it cost anything to sign up to GamerSaloon.com? Are there any monthly charges that will go on my credit card?
GamerSaloon.com is 100% free to sign up and there are no monthly subscription charges.
How much does it cost me to play?
There is a 12% fee that will be automatically withdrawn from your account every time you play a match with a prize of greater than $4.00. Matches with a prize of $4.00 or less have a flat rate service fee of $.50. The fee is called a GamerSaloon.com service fee. For example, a $25 tournament would cost you $28.00 to enter ($25 x 12% =$3.00). The winner would then receive $50.

How do I deposit money into my GamerSaloon.com account?
You can either deposit money using your verified PayPal account, your credit or debit card, money order, and Echeck. We offer online payment through PayPal. You can deposit money through the cashier page. You can also make payments over the phone by calling (866) 934-2636. Or mail your money order along with a note of your name, address, phone number and GamerSaloon.com username to:

I tried to deposit and the money came off my card but is not in my account?
This usually occurs because the address for your GamerSaloon.com account does not match the billing address for your debit or credit card. Because of this, our bank has declined the card even though your bank approved the transaction and put the money on hold. This hold generally lasts 48-72 hours and when the hold is released the money will be put back on your card.
Does GamerSaloon.com accept pre-paid credit cards?
GamerSaloon.com does not accept most pre-paid cards. If you are looking for a pre-paid card that will work, GamerSaloon.com accepts Green Dot Visa or MasterCard. Go to www.greendotonline.com for more information.

Unfortunately this happens to some of our customers because of their internet service providers. If this happens, just call 1-866-934-2636 and we can take your deposit over the phone.
I don't live in the U.S., can I still deposit?
We welcome members from all over the world to participate in our video game skill tournaments. All transactions for GamerSaloon.com are in U.S. dollars. PayPal, our primary payment processor, will automatically convert your deposit in U.S. dollars to your native currency, deducting the proper amount from your credit card or PayPal account. WITHDRAWALS
How do I withdraw money from my GamerSaloon.com account?
GamerSaloon.com can write you a check or deposit money into your PayPal account. There is a $3.00 withdrawal fee every time you want to withdraw money from your account. To request a withdrawal use the form on the cashier page which is accessible from your My Saloon page or by clicking on your balance at the top of any page.
How long does it take to receive my check or PayPal withdrawal?
It takes 7 to 10 business days to process all regular withdrawals. If it has been longer than 7 to 10 business days, please contact customer support.
What is an Express Withdrawal and how much does it cost?
If you select an express withdrawal by PayPal you will receive your withdrawal on the next business day (Monday-Friday) and if you select an express withdrawal by check the check will be sent by regular mail on the next business day. There is an additional fee of $7.00 for express withdrawals.

How do I set up a head 2 head match online?
Setting up head 2 head matches online will differ for each console. An explanation and instructions can be found on our help page.
How do I find someone to play?
There are various methods to find people that play the same games you play. On your "My Saloon" page, you can click on any name that's online to bring up their profile, and from here you can send messages, challenges, or just view someone's games played and feedback. Also, you can search through any one of our members in our Look up a Player feature on the My Saloon page as well. In addition, there are leaderboards for every title on our site, which show lists of everyone that has played each individual title. These can be located under "choose your platform" when searching through the posted matches.
How do I enter a Multi Player Tournament?
On your My Saloon Page there is a section called Upcoming Tournaments. Browse through the tournaments and click register next to the tournament you want to join. Instructions and details of the tournament including time, round completion, your opponent will be emailed to you.
What are game play settings? How do I set them up?
The game play settings differ for each game that you play. Before a match is played, both members must agree upon the game play settings. This MUST be done before the match begins and each player must abide by the rules set before the match. Any predetermined game play settings that are broken by any player will be considered cheating. If you don't put anything in the game play settings, there are considered no rules, and anything goes.
PLAYING A MATCH
What happens if there is a disconnection during my game?
We understand that disconnections are part of online play. However, if you are disconnected from your game our policy is you have 2 choices. One, you can finish out your game by starting a new game, keeping the same score at the point of disconnection, and playing out the remaining time. Or, two, the one who was losing at the point of disconnection can forfeit.
What precautions should I take to make sure that I can prove that I won the game?
Since GamerSaloon.com can't automatically verify the score or outcome of the game, we recommend that you take the following precautions:
- Always have your stats e-mailed to you. To view how to setup your games to receive your end of games stats by e-mail click here.
- Take screenshots of the outcome of the game. Please make sure that the entire screen shows up in the picture showing the score, and exactly who was playing. Only Administrators have the final decision on whether the pictures are considered indisputable evidence.
- Always forward evidence to customercare@GamerSaloon.com.
If you don't take these necessary precautions, you are playing at your own risk!
What happens if my game scheduled never gets played?
If a match scheduled goes unplayed, and unreported within 2 hours, the match is automatically wiped, and both players are refunded 100%.
REPORTING/VERIFYING A MATCH
How does the site know who wins?
At the end of each game, one user will report the results, and the other must verify it. Then, the money will be awarded to the winner automatically.
What happens if my opponent doesn't verify that I won the game?
Your opponent has 1 hour to verify the outcome of the game. If the match goes unverified after 1 hour, then the reported winner of the game will automatically be credited with the win.
My opponent didn't show up to play the game, can I claim the win?
NO. There are no forfeit wins on GamerSaloon.com and you can be fined if you claim the win without playing. If you simply wait 2 hours from the time the match was scheduled you will receive a full refund.
DISPUTES
What happens in a Dispute?
We take every dispute extremely seriously, and investigate each one individually for up to 72 hours. During that time, we use resources we have, along with any evidence sent in by the participants of the match, to ultimately make the final decision on who actually won the game. The person rewarded the victory will receive their winnings, and the other person will receive a dispute on their profile for everyone to see. Keep in mind, 3 disputes in any 30 day span will result in an indefinite suspension from the site. If we are unable to determine the outcome of the game, the money will be refunded to both players, minus the service fee. All Admin decisions are final. If you want your case looked at again, you must be able to provide indisputable evidence.
What if someone cheats during a game?
GamerSaloon.com does not tolerate cheating at all. GamerSaloon.com takes pride in having a community made up of honest gamers that enjoy the competition. For more about cheating and disputes, see our disputes section.
What should I do if I notice someone cheating?
If you notice someone breaking the rules agreed upon in your game play settings, our policy is that you are to stop the game immediately and report it to Support. You must also have indisputable evidence that you're able to provide to Support to prove that in fact your opponent was cheating. If you proceed to play the game, past the point when your opponent "cheated," your claim will not be valid.
What happens to my match if I prove my opponent was cheating?
Then your match becomes void, and both players are refunded their money, minus the service fee.
What are dispute fines?
Dispute fines are $5 and there are several ways you can be fined for disputes. If you dispute or claim a false win because you claim your opponent was cheating but you do not have indisputable evidence of the cheating then you will receive a fine. If you claim a win when you did not win then you will receive a fine. If you claim a win and you and your opponent did not play then you will receive a fine.
TOURNAMENTS
I entered a tournament but I don't know who I am supposed to play?
You will receive an email when the tournament has started. The email will tell you who your first round opponent is, and the match will appear in the Current Matches section of your My Saloon page.
How long do I have to play my tournament game?
For most tournaments you have 48 hours from the time the round begins to play your game.
I am trying to play my tournament game but my opponent won't contact me, what do I do?
As long as you have been sending messages to your opponent through the GamerSaloon.com messaging system you can claim the win if it has been 48 hours since the round began.
I didn't play my tournament game but my opponent moved on to the next round, why is that?
If a tournament game is not played in the 48 hours allowed the tournament director looks at the messages sent between you and your opponent. Whoever he believes has made the better effort will be moved to the next round.
